
2010 Queen's Baton arrived in Delhi amid much of the Bahamas at the Phillip Goldson International Airport in Belize on Wednesday. Belize is the country's 47th Queen's Baton has been since the relay started at Buckingham Palace on 29 October. Belize should be left for Bermuda on Friday, after which travel to Canada.
According to The Guardian Belize, 10 members of the national cycling team 2kg Belize Baton hoisted high and a scorching afternoon heat proudly led a caravan as he rode from the airport at Stella Maris School on Princess Margaret Drive.
After a brief ceremony at the Campus Stella Maris, the rider Byron Pope presented the 2010 Queen's baton from Delhi to Michael Graham, who won gold in the 200m race at the 2008 Special Olympics. Graham, turn him over to Belize City Mayor Zenaida Moya-Flowers. She agreed and said the Baton represents the common heritage of the Commonwealth countries.

On the afternoon of Thursday, the Mayor formally hand the baton to Sports Minister, Information and Broadcasting Mr. Elvin Penner after a parade through the streets. He goes to Belmopan on 9 April. Along the way, will pause at the Youth Hostel at mile 21. Thereafter, in Belmopan, will be presented to Mayor Simeon Lopez. The athletes then be forwarded to the Governor General Sir Colville Young and Patrick Ashworth British High Commissioner.
Belize is sending a contingent of 18 athletes to the 2010 Commonwealth Games Delhi to be held from October 3 to 14.
