
Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi (Delhi 2010 GTC OC) on Friday started its operational phase for the celebrations in October, when his team moved to the headquarters of the Talkatora Stadium, home of boxing. "It's a historic moment for us as we move from planning stage to another operation," said Delhi 2010 GTC OC President Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, MP.

Mr. Kalmadi said that 85 members of the CWG Delhi 2010 OC staff operate in the Talkatora Stadium during the Games. "Some have spent time in the place during the Commonwealth Championship Boxing and have been visiting the stadium on a regular basis during the planning phase we also identified 500 volunteers to be assigned to the stadium and they have specific training in place the coming weeks, "he said.
"Talkatora Indoor Stadium will be a model for most of the activities of integration of various functional areas within the Organizing Committee.
